Late Monday morning I began another long drive, from my hotel in Molins de Rei to the hotel I had booked in Fuenlabrada, a suburb of Madrid.
I spent three weeks traveling about the Iberian peninsula in September 2019.
These photographs and short videos are essentially in chronological order.
I arrived on the morning of September 6, and checked into a hotel near the airport to recover from my overnight flight.
The next morning I began my journey, driving to Segovia, about an hour northwest of Madrid.

I arrived in Fuenlabrada shortly before sunset on Monday. Fuenlabrada, like many Spanish suburbs (but not all) consists mostly of high rise apartment buildings, not single family homes as one would expect in much of the USA.
