Hirshhorn Museum
June 2024, playing the tourist in DC and vicinity.
I should have spent more time here. Some wonderful contemporary artwork, particularly the Laurie Anderson exhibit. Their large sculpture gallery was closed for renovation, actually a giant hole in the ground when I visited. But some of the sculptures are exhibited surrounding the museum building, instead of in the sculpture gallery. A pleasant taste of what I missed.
