Nevada City California is a historic gold mining town in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
My cousin Mal owns a home there and he was kind enough to put me up for several days. I used that as a home base to visit friends and relatives in that part of California.
In particular, I was able to visit Ursula who owns the home I stay at when I visit Trinidad. She now lives with her daughter and their family. In addition to Mal and his family I saw my cousin Brad and my cousin Sara and her husband Reed.
